Day 01    Arrive Beijing

Upon arrival into Beijing International Airport.

You will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Remainder of the day will be free at leisure.

Overnight in Beijing.

Day 02    Beijing (B/L)

After breakfast at hotel, have full day city orientation tours today.

First stop will be the extensive Tiananmen Square which witnessed many historical incidents and the Forbidden City that has numerous halls and palaces. Visit the city's most scenic park - the Summer Palace and drive by the Olympic Stadium in the afternoon.

Overnight in Beijing.

Day 03    Beijing (B/L)

In the morning travel by road for around 1.5 hours to the north suburb to see the Ming Tombs which were built for 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644 AD). Enjoy highlight of your trip in the afternoon by climbing the Mutianyu Great Wall which lies further up to the northeast.

Overnight in Beijing

Day 04    Beijing (B/L/SD)

Take the relaxing Hutong tour in the morning. Riding on rickshaw along the zigzag narrow lanes, you will see the old Bell Tower which was used to announce time, local people's home to get a glimpse of their living conditions, and Prince Gong's Palace. In the afternoon see the Temple of Heaven where royal families worshipped gods and prayed for good harvests. It is also a masterpiece of excellent craftsmanship. Finally visit the Lama Temple which is one of the most influential temples of its kind outside of Tibet before enjoying the Beijing Duck Dinner in the evening.

Day 05     Depart Beijing (B)

    You will be transferred to the airport for onward flight.
